Antonio told him he would be guarding Jason Reynolds, which was fine by him. He needed a break from killing people. As Justin entered Jason’s office, he ran right into a short, brown-haired man.

“Oh! I’m sorry. I wasn’t watching where I was going.”

Justin looked down into beautiful eyes. “No problem. Where is Jason Reynolds?”

“In his office.” Brandon looked up at Justin. “I’m Brandon, Brandon Lawson.” Brandon put his hand out.

“Justin Maddox.” Justin shook his hand quickly and walked toward Jason’s office.

“And who are you exactly?” Brandon scooted over to get in his way.

“I’m his bodyguard.” Justin couldn’t help but look at Brandon’s lips. They looked so soft.

“Okay, Justin. Nice to meet you.”

“I’m not here on social hour; in fact I probably won’t speak at all. It’s not part of my job description.”

“Well, gee.” Brandon rolled his eyes. “I guess I won’t be talking to you, then.”

Brandon had looked up at him and given him a look and as soon as he walked away Justin smiled. Not too many people would have talked to him that way.
